Score this RTX-powered Acer gaming laptop for just $800
If you’re on the hunt for a powerful, sub-$1,000 gaming laptop, you’ve come to the right place. Best Buy’s selling the Acer Predator Helios Neo for just $799.99, which is a whopping $400 off of the original $1,199.99 price.
This laptop comes with an RTX 4050 GPU and loads of connectivity options. That means it can run most games on the higher graphics presets. Reviewers on Best Buy say it delivers beautiful visuals and bootup times are lighting fast.
The Acer Predator Helios Neo comes with an Intel Core i5-13500HX CPU, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 GPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage. The 16-inch display features a resolution of 1920×1200, a refresh rate of 165Hz, and a brightness level of 400 nits. Given those numbers, gameplay should be buttery smooth. For connectivity options, you’re getting three USB-A 3.2 ports, two Thunderbolt 4, and one HDMI 2.1. Thanks to the diverse port selection, you can easily hook up to an external monitor or mouse (if need be).
This is a fantastic deal, but you better swoop in now because we don’t expect it to last long.
