Grab Dell's gorgeous XPS 13 laptop for under $600
It’s been over a decade since Dell introduced the sleek XPS 13 laptop, and it’s still the standard bearer for the Windows-powered ultraportable segment. While this sought-after model can often get pricey, today you can get one for just $599 directly from Dell. That’s a hefty $200 off the latest base model (9315 in Dell’s catalog), complete with a 12th-gen Core i5 processor.
Keep in mind that this is the entry model for the latest refresh of the XPS 13, from mid-2022. So while it’s packing that Core i5 and its signature “Infinity Edge” display, it has to make do with 8GB of DDR5 RAM and 256GB of SSD storage. That should be fine for standard browsing and videos, but might struggle a bit under a heavy load of applications and Chrome tabs. And while the Intel Iris Xe graphics can handle 2D and indie games just fine, it won’t be enough muscle to play the latest 3D games. Unfortunately the upgrade to a 16GB RAM model bumps the price up to $1099 — the similar Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano might be a better choice if you need more memory. But if you’re good to go with the base Dell and you’re looking for a deal, this is as low a price as we’ve seen on one of the most popular PC laptops on the market.
